yep, i understand about the boiled fish thing.. we had a glass heater short and overheat on the first day of a major heatwave.. lost 30 of my 50 synodontis petricola fry, and a bunch of red jewels.

i like the hydor theo heaters.

I agree. They are inexpensive and have served me well. I have them in all my show and grow out tanks.
