Hello. I currently have two leopard geckos and I want to try saving some money by breeding my own food. (I am tired of paying $6 a week). What is the best insect to raise for them. Would mealworms be easy? I know crickets are a pain in @$$. Any input would be greatly appreciated. :D

It's six dollars, breeding insects isn't really worth the effort imo for a couple little lizards. Easiest are the roaches, crickets are not difficult.

Mealworms are super easy!

Just buy a couple. Grow them out in a small plastic container with oatmeal. They will start breeding!

go with dubia roaches. having helped raise a colony i can verify they cant climb smooth surfaces. they have soft bodies so easier for your geckos to eat then the hissers. easy as heck to raise. they will be more nutritious then mealies as well

+1 on the mealworms.
