I voted for Jumbo, but it was a hard decision. They are all flipping awesome in different ways. XR summed it up in the first post.

Maybe I'll get a good pic of my twelve incher, "Tiny". I don't think he's quite in the same class as these, but he's pretty awesome too. If my nine inch male was as big as the others in this thread, he might have a shot at the title. He's got an awful lot of purple on his sides and a lot of blue in his fins. I'll try to get some decent pics up soon.:)

And thanks, XR, for starting this thread. I'm a relative newcomer to MFK and hadn't seen a couple of these fishes. And another thanks is in order for the keepers of these awesome fishes. They have obviously taken a lot of time and care to raise such awesome specimens.;)

As promised, here's a couple of pictures of my twelve incher, Tiny. I rescued him from a tiny tank in an LFS. He had been traded because he was "too mean". I haven't had any problems with him in a tank with 10 other "stone cold killers" (big CA/SA's). I know he's not quite in the same league as the ones in the pole, but I think he's pretty awesome. What do you guys think?

Forgive all the bubbles (I should've turned off the powerheads) and the food. The Oscars push more food out of their gills than they push down their gullets (and that's quite a lot, lol.). I can usually only get decent shots during feeding. Thanks for looking and I'd like to see some more contenders.:D

***Edited To Add***
One more thing, I know my retard photo skills are nowhere near the highest of high quality of the guys who shot the ones in the original post. Aquamojo's photos, especially, are consistently excellent and inspire me. As far as I'm concerned, he's a true artist. I can only hope to one day take photos half as good (and even that is reaching, lol.) as these guys. Thanks again.

I voted for Mo as I have seen his attitude and I love the fish but I am going to say all of them are equally BRILLIANT! Best Jag's out there no question about it. Jeez do I wish I had a Nikon D40 or D50 with some lenses. I mean I am proud of my Jag and I hate taking pics of him with my crappy canon because they make him look like Garbage. Mine might be a competetor in a couple months hopefully if his markings stay. I have to get a better camera lol.

ted, your jag has great potential, he doesn't have the fins, but with some bulking up he could be great.:)

Thanks. His fins were kind of beat up when I got him a couple of months ago. His belly was a little sunken in too. He is definately coming around though, his coloration is 1000% better than when I brought him home. He has a great personality too (lots of interaction, very curious about what's outside the tank).

But, he is not in the same league as the four in the poll (yet :D). They are each what I would consider "perfect specimens" and would be very proud to own.
