I say gt because it's the only cichlid I have included on the list and in fairness it really is attractive as far as I'm concerned and the reason I bought it.

I picked Other. I think a regular Male Jack Dempsey cichlid is a beautiful fish. The golds, blue and greens of its super shiney scales, the brilliant aztec looking designs on its fins, and it doesnt get a big hump head, which I'm not a fan of.

No offense, but I'd still take a regular JD over that one... although it isn't as bad as most of the ones I've seen (at least it looks healthy).

+1

All my ebjds are healthy, i just found a set up that works for them.

To each his own, i had a nice regular JD. Got rid of it it was nothing special. The color on a ebjd just trashes anything out there imo.

Though id like to get my hands on some super red cichlid, any ideas.

Is this pike cichlid Red enough for ya buddy!!

festaes are great also but these are cichlids than can be house in common tanks like 150G or less. a male festae can get to 50 inches thats HUGEE lol. it seems like alot of people like the GT ... can it be house with a tiger oscar, black diamond cichlid and a texas cichlid ? in a 115 G tank they are all small at the time
