Best Looking Cichlid?

What Jag's lack in bright colors, They make up for in pattern and have a predatory look that attracts people to them.

Am I the only one who finds EBJD ugly?

Red Texas are cool looking, but they are hybrids.

I think festae's would win if they were on the list.

My vote would probably go for C. sajica but they aren't listed, so I voted Convicts

i dislike EBJDs as well. in fact i dont like large JDs in general unless its a fifth.

i chose Red Texas simply because the list is kind of eh.
Large oscar are pretty ugly, jags and GT are hit and miss as well.
A nice dovii is an awesome site but not incredible looking like a hybrid is. Not that all hybrids look good but a quality red tex would blow all those away in the looks department

the butti looks rather dull or lame , only white and black strips . the jag has decent colours most people like them because of their predatory look and hunting instincts

A good looking Butti is yellow and black. I want to get rid of my big guy but he just looks so damn good now that my ph is much higher and hes yellow..really yellow

Cichla....ftw beats the rest just look at the blue of an azul or the green of an orino or the GOLD of a kelberi...they do count as cichlids right?

My fav cichlid is Rostratus but the most beautiful cichlids imo are Black or white calvus, gold head comp, all peacocks.

ahaha gguess everyone hates the midas cichlids lol is it becuz they have the "Nucal Hump"

I also think C. Moori are beautiful, Red forrest jewel, red empress etc, there are so many beautiful cichlids its hard to narrow it down to one.
