Was yours 8 inches though?
Also I’d be wary of that site. I’ve had 4/5 purchases with them and only 1 was good.

And candy used to cost $0.10. Times change and prices change, it’s a sad fact of life and people have to adjust.

Must be a mark up and time changes type of thing.

I have 2 that I am just nuts about.

my datnoid is such a character, comes and looks at me side ways to say, “how’s it comin with the shrimp? “Then when I drop it in there he grabs it and swims away like a dog with a bone that sticks out both sides of its mouth. Or he just watches the pellets sink to the bottom then looks back up at me as if to say “that wasn’t shrimp”

I have heard about how people say that arowanas are characters but just didn’t quite put the pieces together until I got one. Some people even say that they can understand someone’s intentions, and I would have called them crazy if I didn’t see it for myself. It’s unreal how charismatic my aro is. Some fish hide when you walk in, but this guy hangs out behind driftwood until I come into the room, then when I peek behind its like he comes out to greet me. Very similar to a puppy.
the aro is such a graceful majestic creature, it almost seems as if it shows off to you. Swimming right up front to show you it’s incredible scales. I seriously just sit there for hrs watching it. If I am looking at other aros online, I swear it gets jealous and darts back and forth in the tank to get my attention, then calms down again when I look at it. Lol.

For me personally it was my Fahaka and Fire eel that gave me most enjoyment as far as being entertaining and fun to keep / feed...
