Best reaction to your monsters......?

We dont have many people over but the other day my uncles, and there kids and my nan and granddad game over, there were loads of us and they were all facinated by houw big my fish like my cats, giant gouramis are, and loved my lungfish and my rays and my reptiles too.

hands down my African Lungfish "Sigmund"
it in my living room and just about everyone that sees it first time
says the same thing "what the hell is that!"
he's about 18" and has a real cool personality
always at front of tank asking for another scooby snack

People first look at my 6" parrots and say, "big goldfish" then look at my ck and think its the uglyiest thing they've ever seen, my bala "looks like a minnow" and the only wow's i get is when its feeding time.... sigh.. I need new friends,,,

I had a friend come over and look at my 11" midas and was amazed by the size. I showed her my 30" Pacu and she almost fainted! Oh yeah!

BEST REACTION I'VE EVER HAD.......when I still had my 20"+ aro and my rays. Everyone that knows me knows I'm into keeping fish; but when I had a few friends and family members over; theycame; they saw and....... "WHAT THE F....... JEFF!!!!!!" my only return to that was "aint it though"...... gotta luv those reactions..


ever since then my aro has been referred to by my friends and family as the WTF fish.....

We called the cable guy because we were having trouble with our internet connection. I caught him several times stopping what he was doing and standing in front of my 180 with his mouth open. He asked a million questions about the fish.

My favorite reaction though was my mom's when I have her to feed the fish for me. She said she likes all the fish, but the TSN scares her. She said "it threw water all the way across the room, I'm afraid of that fish, it's dangerous."

Thats one of the reasons I come on here....cos on here there are other people genuinely as excited about fish as me.......or nearly....
