I like angels too. I used to keep black lace veils, and koi. Cool fish. I was thinking about getting a 29 and 6 baby blue angelfish and letting them pair off. Either that or keyholes.

I'm mainly looking to get a colony of Blues as I think they're awesome. Come to find out, apparently the genetics aren't strong and they're prone to a lot of health issues from what I've heard. Keyholes are awesome themselves but the Altums are my favorite. One day I'll have about 30-40 Altums in 1,000 show tank in my living room. Throw in about a dozen 10'' Clown Loaches and that would be my dream tank.

and i forgot to add, where the hell do i find some good cover if needed? i want some driftwood, but have no idea where to find some! my local shops don't really have anything decent.

sounds easy enough... i think i have what i need, but what i do lack is actual cover that i've read that piranha need/prefer. that, and how do you go about making a light more dim?

Ideally you'd shade one side with live plants, driftwood, rocks or whatever. On my tanks I can turn one side of light off but you couldn't do that with a smaller tank.

Just fill a corner with plants, either artificial or live and he's good.

Sounds like a very good deal on a good Sanch. They have always been one of my favorites.
Water quality and diet are the keys to success to getting that red to glow.

to dim your tank light you can just put some aluminum foil on the glass cover under your light and just poke some holes so only limited light will come out.

Sanch. is cool fish.
here's one I took a picture of at a lfs.
