Scs 1200 on larger tanks no question. Anything over 125 gallons id go with the higher tensile strength scs1200 or I heard rtv. Any smaller tank just use any 100% silicone with nothing added, the one I have at my Canadian tire comes in a 3 pack for $12 and says on the label safe for aquarium use
