Best single fish for 55g

I want one fish (doesn't have to be rare) that gets to an ok size for a 55gallon aquarium. I'm looking for one with a nice personality and minor aggression, but won't try to kill me like my managuense does.

depending on the way the tank was built... royal knife fish barely get 2 foot max in captivity thats over like 3 years. Raoyal knife should be fine if the width is adleast 18 inch as usual 55g's are.

You can scratch the Clown Knife species unless its just a grow out tank or plan on selling rather soon.

I would look into a small species of Piranha or similar... School of Exodons, wimple piranha, anubias with german rams or the only flowerhorn I like... Super Red Texas (if its a FH Lol). Wolf fish are nice but not really show pieces... they are similar to bichirs imo. Not enough movement for my taste.

Clown knives are too big for a 55

Usual 55's are 12" wide regular 75's are 18" wide
