Hikari sinking carnivore pellets are part of my gangs diet-Anne
This out of all foods i've found makes them come to their feeding spot on smell alone. Before this food hits the sand, theyll be a tanks length away and recept it.

Are you effin SERIOUS?! I think Imma go have a talk with my LFS... my 13 oz bag ran me fifty-somethin... :irked::irked::WHOA:

FYI, you can take advantage of Petsmart.com if you have a Discover Card. If you go to Discover's website, log in, and then go to Show Discover, there will be a link to Petsmart w/ a 15% cash back bonus on purchases.

Petsmart is offering free shipping over $50. They have a great deal on Hikari Foodsticks ($39.99 on 2.2 lbs - best price I've seen), and a decent deal on 5.61 oz Hikari Carnivore @ $5.69. Converting that to 2.2 lbs, it's about $76.74, but with 15% discount and assume 6% tax, it's $69 shipped. Plus, you now have smaller individual packages that will stay fresh better.

Mine only get New Life Spectrum. They are very enthusiastic about it. My cousin has fed both NLS and Massivore Delite and his are more enthusiastic about the NLS. The smell of NLS seems to be much more intriguing for all types of fish.

well it sounds like i am feeding my senaguls the right stuff

thanks everyone!

Mine love Hikari cichlid sinking pellets

Holy crap, I had a customer quote your post to me today in person, which is what inspired me to come check this thread out. We're in the same state, and while I did see Hikari MD selling in San Antonio for $30-36 for a 13oz bag, I've got it for $27 every day of the week :screwy: I thought that my customer was just over-exaggerating when they told me "some guy online posted he paid $50 for it."

Anyhow, in regards to the people feeding Dainichi: awesome choice, but if that's all you're feeding them, consider cutting in some more carnivore-based food. We're one of the nations top Dainichi Cichlid dealers, and very good friends with the man who formulated the stuff, so believe me, I love their food + stand by it plenty. But, until a final formula of Dainichi XL Pro comes out (still under wraps/unreleased, last I checked) I'd only use their foods in a mix with other pellets. We got a 5lb bag demo of XL Pro back in the Spring/Summer, and Fronts and Bichirs love the stuff!

Anyhow, all I feed my Bichirs at home the Massivore and Carnivore Sinking Pellet. Toyin told me he feeds those foods as well, along with market shrimp + smelt, and that's about it :icon_naruto10:
