best spots on c 14?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thanks for the replies guys :D
Why not just go and prove them.;)

Really, the only way to find out is try it out. There's no such thing as a best spot. Every time I go the "best" spot is a different one and I fish the same waterways. Fish move around you know. Even PB does, unless they are spawning.... And when they spawn they'll be there for only 5 days at the most,.. this time of year.....And the locals will find them before you come down
true
You will need lots of luck if you're aiming to catch some monster sized PB on a weekend. You will have better chances during the week.

You are at a big disadvantage on weekends. While you are driving down somebody is already cleaning out the spawners. Your best shot at them is during the week.

Just try as many spots as possible. The so called best spots has already been fished out by the time you get there on the weekend
ya that sucks
i would go on a week day if i could.
theres always a monster lurking in the deep :D

Superlaz, ever been to that new river canal?
Grumpy? not at all ..... as Laz and I stated only the obvious only he was more detailed in his responce. There is one place where I caught some decent sized peas Jed did as well two yrs ago on our trip. That is on 441 and sample road behind the walmart there is a community of lakes. Jed caught a very nice pea there and I have caught quite a few there a few yrs back. But i havent been there in a long time so I cant tell you if theyre still there.
will check that out.
last time i went, the lakes by wally world had no trespassing signs tho :irked:
so i went behind target,no luck there yet.

You want peacocks you go for topwater or live shiners, they cant resist....if they are nesting a jig works great to drop on them and piss them off..Ive never been to that New river canal...where is it??

Oh...heard of some good fishing there...just havent gone...

Midnight, any preference on dates? I am ok for during the week since that seems to be the best.
