I use K3 because of the larger size. I don't want the stuff all through my sump or getting in a pump.

U ballin bro..... that's some expensive *** media..... lol...... agreed, for a non moving submersible bed, sintered glass all the way!!

I agree! Stuff is awesome! I got 5 cubic feet shipped to my house for just over $200.

No moving bed media beats K1/K3 used WITH the bio chips that most people are too cheap to buy......

Bio home or Bacteria house if it's non moving bed.

If you combine this with a bio ball sump you don't need the bio chips do you?

I had a sump loaded with Bacteria house and I like the K3 better so far.
