best substrate for beards

for my uromastyx we just went out to a park and dug some up and mixed it with playsand

I use a clay soil and playsand mix for mine. Got the clay soil from a landscaping supply

I always used slate tile. Very easy to clean and doesn't hold odor like some other substrates.

News paper or paper towel are the best .... good diets are dusted dubia, crickets, supers and veggies

Mine so far like greens only, not a fan of the fruit and they love the bugs...
