Best Walmart find

this isnt going to sound that cool, but the wal mart here is the only place that stocks ghost shrimp and the guy who gets them has cataracts so he always adds a lot more than there actually is, last time he thought there was 12, but in reality there was around 20. i'm so glad wal mart hires older people.

a few wal-marts still do, but a lot had to stop because either no one was buying or because they were killing too many fish and it pissed people off.
in my area theres about 4 of them, and all started with tanks, but now only one still sells fish.
 
Never see deals but see fish that you would'nt think you'd see there.....

I got there whole tank system for 200 bucks ...mars systems go for about 15 k easy ...it was the heated system with 2 rack with 9 tanks each and the sink system.....
 
well over here we have a place called pets at home...the other day i went in and saw some plecs, one rusty, 2 albino and a sailfin...looked for the price and it said 'ASTD PLECS £2.43'
snapped up the lot lol all of £10ish
 
I'd still rather spend a little more on a nice fish at a lfs. Walmart's got enough money.
 
I just bought a dinasour eel for 4.99 the other day.
 
My crawdaddy loves Wal Mart. It's first two meals were 2" baby tiger oscars.....LOL
I had a major brain fart and thought a different fish was killing them, so when i relocated that fish it didn't help.
For the most part our local Wal Mart stocks the smaller tropicals. The department head lady had a pet store near me in a small town that closed due to the economy. For a while there she was able to order anything she wanted but wally world put a stop to that....LOL
