What is the best way to clean nets, gravel cleaner, etc., when dealing with multiple tanks? I have one tank with ick and do that tank last. I also rinse everything in very hot water for a minute before using on another tank.

I would like to know the best way to deal with cleaning these to avoid contaminating other tanks. Thank you.

If worried about contamination I'd use a mild bleach solution to dip in between tanks and of course rinse well.

I don't have a fishroom, or large amounts of tanks unfortunately (only 3), so what I do is just have separate sets of net and gravel vacs that I use on my smaller tanks, which I generally use as hospital or quarantine.

Net soak works well.

Definitely the cheaper route.

It's probably over kill, but I've been using about 1 gallon hot (sometimes boiled) water to 1 or 2 cups rock salt. I remember hot salt water was used as net soak at the store I worked at long ago. Bleach sloution after rinsing is fine. Use that on the python/gravel vacs once in a while.

I hesitate using bleach, but if that is a good way, I can try it. I do have 2 gravel vacs and multiple nets, so maybe I should use one vac for contaminated tanks and one for the others.

I have used both seperate equipment for each tank and a bleach dip.
