best way to go about this plywood build?

I wouldn't do a pond liner build unless I could cut and join the corners to give it flat even coverage. Also think about your big spikey rasping catfish and make sure you're happy with how durable the liner is. My L128s rasped my cement background back to the polystyrene, not sure how happy I'd be able keeping plecs in any DIY tank with soft chewable lining...

Agreed there are downfalls to liner...cutting it up is a sinn tho lol and they make preformed liners in rectangle shapes so u wouldnt have too...i cringed even cutting my window frame out. Most people that see my 650 in person cant even tell its a liner tank tho. It lays very flat surprisingly. I may do two layers of 45mil on my next or the 60mil....ive never had any problems with 45mil but theres always that chance. Theres downfalls to every method. The one thing each method has in commin in an end result of $$$$ lol

tbh, I was planning on putting two layers down of thick pond liner. I reckon that would help eliminate the possibility of the liner being broken/stabbed/rasped
