best way to move a fish from cold to warm

just bag the young aro and let the bag float for 10-20 minutes.

Again, why hope when you could drip and be safe?

I *hope* I don't kill my fish!

Put him in a small container, add enough water to keep him covered, and drip the the water gets close to the same temp. That's the only way I move my fish tank to tank, even if the temp is the same.
 
I like drip, or float for an hour.
 
With all this dripping from your tubes, I think some of you need to go get a shot or something.:nilly:

should i drain half the water in his tank then slowly add the new water to his tank?
so would that work?
or a 10 gallon half full of his water then drip new tank water the other half of the 10 g?
and should i add air during this?
thanks for the replies.will be moving him in a few days.
hope hes not as spastic as my bass :irked:
