BEST WAY TO USE CUCUMBERS?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
oh, Duh. I guess I could of looked it up. I was thinking more like a special cutting method like the Bloomin' Onions they have at Outback Steakhouse or whatever! I figured he would of just said 'boiled', haha..

In Anycase - A SECRET Tip from our friendly Exporter in Peru!

He said for smaller mouthed, and finicky algae eating species, such as farlowellas and ottocinclos, you should BLANCH some FRESH SPINACH. He said all of those picky veggie eaters will absolutely devour boiled fresh spinach in no time at all. He uses this method with alot of rare wild fish in Peru.

I would also freeze the spinich, this would soften it up too....

After reading about this yesterday, I decide to try out the cucumbers in one of my tanks....I had a veggie clip, and put it on the glass by the driftwood. I did this at night....This morning the whole middle of the cuc was gone! I was like WOW! This works great!!! I have a little baby pleco that looks really skinny, and when I saw him this morning, he looked a little fatter!

I just cut the cucumber in 4ths an use a Elastic band to secure it to a rock, an drop it in.

i cut the top of the cucumber the very tip and then cut in half longways and then blanch it for a minute and then i put it in my nemo veggy holder and into the tank it goes with a suction cup on the nemo

fresh slice rubber band and rock

Ask my ex girlfriend. All of mine always disappeared while I was at work.

do it at night i use full slices and i have a veggie clip (just a plastic clip with a suction cup) and i put it about half way down the glass in the morning if its till there take it out

that is what i did with my old 8inch royal, clip it on the side of the glass, and it came from the other side of the tank to eat it.

everything Miles have said would make perfect sense for picky feeders...
