As far as the shell casing size, who gives a crap. I think this guy has had too many sulfer clouds from gun powder smoke fogging his memory about the true meaning of stewardship for aquatic life. :irked:

WOW! Need another cup of Coffee? Angry! But, i do agree.ANYWAYS, saw the tank again finally! There is only one koi and about 10 Large oddball goldfish. The tank cleaner was there and what a mess!!!!! Leftover over feeding, waste....
Also 1 HUGE scratch, from a high heel! (David youll love this one!) I think they also use tank to put girls in and photoshoot!!!! EWWWWWWW! :naughty:
Also the shells get a dull antique look that is better looking then shiny shells.

Its creative but not very practical. Most people avoid putting any kind of metal in their tanks, not this guy. Linked 30.06 would look awesome as a background though.

wow thats sweet. i would like to just put a few in mine lol

i have some big tank stub bases an some sabot pedals from the tanks 120mm, hmmmm

they do look like 308 or 30-06 shells. as for the cleaning.. I would of filled each shell with poly eurethane and popped the primers out of them as well. this would of rounded off the edges and got rid of the potential chemicals from even a spent primer to get into the water.
I considered doing this myself after seeing it but i would have encased all the shells in the poly into a layer on the bottom of the tank so it would of been more like a "textured" bare bottom.
