Betta ID

I just got a new Betta, after my other one died. I'm confused on whether my new Betta is a half moon or a doubletail. He has what looks like a small split, which is why I'm thinking he could be a doubletail, but it could also just be fin damage.

Looks like it's just a split in the tail. Double tails will have 2 tail lobes

It would be easier to tell if I had more input. So far it's just two people with two different answers.
