I just got a new betta today!!!!!!! His name is Sam and he is AWESOME! His name is Sam in memory of my aunts cat would recently died.:rip Sorry, I can't find my camera to take any pictures.:(

Betta's are kool. That's about all I got, lol. I've always wanted one, maybe since I'm getting a apt. I could get one. Put it in the bathroom or on a end table in the living room.

Hey, just noticed you live in Ohio, great another Ohio keeper.

This is my VT, Introducing Brutus the Second!! (There is no Brutus the First)

They are awesome. I want to get one and put it in a 300 gallon tank all by it self ;)

Haha jk, but no smaller than a 20.

I love my betta! He's extremely social and social towards people, not so much with the otos. He's a black orchid crowntail. I'll try to post pictures later.

I just got 2 new bettas. Both look amazing, and flare their gills/fins a lot. I names them Cobalt and Chaos. Each have their own 20 gallon with a little school of zebra danios.

I love bettas! I have 3 at the moment, but will be getting more soon!:) Right now I have two male bettas and one male crowntail betta! I've had over 25 bettas over the years though! LOVE THEM! :D I often times keep mine in larger tropical tanks with tetras/glofish and african dwarf frogs after I check their temperment! They make beautiful additions to small tropical tanks if you have them with the right fish (and the temperments are good!) I'll try to find pictures later to post of mine!

In a side note, does anyone have a King Betta? I've had my eyes on those for a while now- really considering one for my next betta!

Bettas are totally awesome- I love labyrinth fish! However, a lot of people don't care for their bettas properly (water changes every other day, even better yet a filter, heaters, etc). Makes me sad to see such beautiful fish going down the drain. Literally.
