BETTAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love bettas! I have 3 at the moment, but will be getting more soon! Right now I have two male bettas and one male crowntail betta! I've had over 25 bettas over the years though! LOVE THEM! I often times keep mine in larger tropical tanks with tetras/glofish and african dwarf frogs after I check their temperment! They make beautiful additions to small tropical tanks if you have them with the right fish (and the temperments are good!) I'll try to find pictures later to post of mine!

In a side note, does anyone have a King Betta? I've had my eyes on those for a while now- really considering one for my next betta!

Those are some really nice bettas. Sadly, I can't seem to keep any betta alive for more than a week.

we've got one 1 common veiltail at the moment but I hope to bring in and breed "monster"/"dragon" plakats one day :thumbup:

recently got a king betta from petco (they look like plakats) awesome betta i bought it on a impulse because that was the only one i saw >_<. My estimated size, i would say a little over 2 inches. Read around the forums and some people say they are half gaints ? but some people claim that theirs get to 4inches. updated with pictures, sorry the pictures didnt come out good.

Betta's are kool. That's about all I got, lol. I've always wanted one, maybe since I'm getting a apt. I could get one. Put it in the bathroom or on a end table in the living room.

Some males can get along with females but it's considered too risky to keep them together. Your safest bet is to keep 5 or more female bettas together, and if you can buy them all from the same brood then that's even better. 5 is needed so they can establish a pecking order and don't bully each other too much, even so you need plenty of hiding places.
