BETTAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love bettas! I have 2 right now, a male and a female. They arent in the same tank, but I want to breed them eventually.

Should be fine. Heck, I know a lot of people will keep 5 of them in a 10g.

how do i tell difference in gender i heard males have longer fins?? any ideas

If you go to Petco or whatever, yes, the males will have longer fins. However if you only go on that there's always the chance that you'll walk away with a "female betta" that's actually a plakat male. :irked:
The best way to tell is to check if the betta has an ovipositor or not.
 
Got mine in his own 10 gallon. Cool fish. Lives in the garage though lol :) Next to my aquarium equipment. He is red and his name is Klause after the fish on American Dad.

He wolfs down 1mm New life spectrum cichlid formula his colors are nice.

Downer.Oh well I will just have to hurry up. But I wont be able for a while:(.

Ya, it can hold 5 FEMALES. Actually probably 15 females. If you are talking males, it could hold maybie 2 or 3 males with LOTS of hiding.I know im stating the obvious...but I know some [apperantly] intelligent people who have done dumber things.
