Better off in a small tank?

New theory, when he was in the 450g it was with 4 very large arowana, the 55g sits across the room(in complete view)from the 450g. The 29g has no view of the aro.

Last night I turned off the lights to the 450g, got distracted and left the 55g light on for a few minutes. When I went to turn this light off, the polleni was out and swimming. I turned the 450g back on and the polleni immedeately went back into hiding :screwy:

Could it be that he is scared of the arowana?

Those Arrowana you have aren't large. They are huge!

Polleni with 55g tank has been moved to another room, same decor. We'll see how it goes.

I see this is so many fish. My female grammodes is in a 20 gallon and just loves it. She's always out and following me around. Before when she was in my 75 she just hid and only ate when the lights are off

Yeah he still hasn't returned to his "glass bangin" form but at least he is out and about, instead of constantly hiding.

I actually just sold a polleni this morning. It was 4 inches. It hid a lot but finally started getting aggressive towards the other fish. Very cool fish tho
