Bgk in a 40?

I saw an ABK at one of my semi-local stores labelled as a BGK -- for $15.99. It was actually a good 5-6", and looked really amazing. I wanted to get it so bad, but I controlled myself.

I can't say for sure if they'll take frozen shrimp. I am sure i've heard it done before, but I can't say positively. My only suggestion before you try it is to bathe it in cold water for a few minutes before feeding to thaw it out. Also, cut off the tail. Just in case.
Even if the shrimp doesn't work, how cool is it that it is already trusting you?

ya he loved the frozen market shrimp, i just thawed them out in the fridge over night,

I'd do a school of Giant Danios myself. Silver Dollars are quite skittish if kept in small numbers. Being kept in larger numbers requires large amounts of space, as each fish will get 6" or so. I have 3 of them, and they are usually cowering in the corner unless it's quiet. Plus the bio-load with your other fish in the tank might prove to be too much. JMO
