Bichir and arowana, compatibility

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've had my odoe with polys for over a year now. No problems at all. One time when the sen was going up for air he took a test bite but it never happened again and the sen was unaffected by it. They will swim in all seas of the tank but ime she stays at the top mainly. Sometimes the middle, and then rarely the bottom.

How many odoe can you keep in a tank??

My vote is for those sexy pink tail chalceus :-)

There's not many top swimmers that stay on top, lol. Can only think of chalceus, Apollo sharks at the moment. Most characins and Odoe pikes works well if they are big enough. But believe these mostly mid tank with some top, lol
Pink tail chalceus is my first choice but its kinda hard to find, but im still looking and calling around my area if they have it. Second choice is jardini but they grow fast so ill have to wait till my polys are around 10", and third choice is odoe pike. But im still open to any suggestion.;)

Wetspot had some recently. Look at snookn21 as he gets them in regularly. Be patient it will be available soon.

What about a peacock bass?? Can they be to aggressive to bichirs??

Peacock bass need a tank size similar to silvers, if that's a factor for one, I wouldn't consider the other.
