Bichir Ate my Fire Eel

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
When a similar size fish eat another - believe me, you will be able to tell by the massive swelling of the eater.

Sorry for the loss though

I think the smaller species of bichirs are not that agressive to eels. I had my Senegal bichirs with my Tiretrack eels for months now and no agression whatsoever.

I hope nothing similar ever occurs with erpetoichthys spp. I've got a full-sized peacock eel, I think it will be safe from my ropefish. Any confirmation on that swollen belly yet?

My 7" ploy aye my 7 peacock eel this morning when awoke the poly had a big stomach and this tail hanging out was it al right 2 pull the eel out?
