laps have been captive bred only very recently. Before that, laps are wild caught. The captive bred ones available right now are all baby between 2"-3", and they haven't been exported to many places yet. So even now, most laps in most places are still wild caught.David R;1601292; said:What is the largest recorded size for a lap? Could the big size just be because the b.b's are only F1 or F2 where as the laps have been captive bred for generations, possibly with no care taken to ensure quality stock by selecting the biggest/best coloured etc?
