Bichir Collecting Photos - Enjoy!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My google translation from the site is pretty off. It's in Japanese. If somebody can translate this in detail would be fantastic. It's based off a collection expedition. As all of us our polypterus enthusiast, information about wild poly is rare, i.e. from the fisherman's or collectors, or even youtube videos from the fish market.

Here you guy fellas/gals: http://www.rep-japan.co.jp/cn11/pg46.html
Wow. Perfect eye candy.

There's very few collection photos or videos online for polys. So, I'd like to bump this again.

Here is a couple. Appears to be from an educational site which just was from a 'tangr' search. There's also a MFK stamp in the pics. What specie are these polys?

they look like palmas polli with a reddish teugelsi Esq tint of red

I was trying to google the pictures and could not find anything. I wonder if those were old posts from 'Africaman' as Toyin used to be known here on MFK.

They are cool looking bichir for sure.
