ok i dont know what kind of bircher has tiger like stripes, ill get a pic about 7 inch, i have big african clawed frogs around 5 inch. Would it be safe temporary to put them together in a 60 gallon?

I got to think what to do with him if he goes in the cichlid tank hes gonna eat my small ones

if he goes in m y faux gar tank he will do same

The previous owners are scared of him begged me to toake asap because they said he jumps out of there tank and starts walking around their house lmao

Interesting. I would say put it in a divided tank temporarily and put an AD on this site to sell it, if you don't have room for it. There are plenty of poly nuts here, I'm sure somebody will want it.

If he can't fit the cichlid in his mouth he will most likely leave them alone.

Edit - found a thread with much the same experince as i've seen. https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/bichir-with-cichlids.374101/

Haha holy **** this seriously cracked me up. I'd love to have such a fish.

How big are the fish in the other tanks? The Bichir (presumably a Delhezi) should be fine with most fish over 3-4 inches. Smaller than that and they probably will end up as food sooner or later.

Bichirs are however fine with almost any other species of fish, so long as size differences aren't too great. Although capable killers, they usually aren't very aggressive.
