That makes sense then. Even though they are both new to the tank, the senegalus has been used to being top bichir. It perceives the new one as competition for food probably.

The good news is that the aggression rarely gets out of hand, and left to their own devices with close supervision, they should be just fine.

Well i decided to move them to the bigger tank today and theyre absolutly in love with the added space. My pbass wasnt as happy though lol. After i put them in he just looked at me like "what the hell dude?" And so i got a 1.5 in clown loach for the old tank thats now pretty much empty, cept for a pleco...and tomorrow my lfs should be getting a delhizi in that im gonna get as well as something else to swim around near the top of the tank.
