bichir from petmart - id anyone?

Some senegals do have reddish colors at the tail regions as part of their natural coloration, so it doesn't necessarily always mean they have some sort of disease. All of my senegals have them and the oldest of them is about 2 years old.
 
I think the coloration he is talking about is the blood that's visible in the tail region. The tail is so thin, you can see a reddish area b/c of the light. No worries :thumbsup:
 
i don't thin petsmart can get any thing besides senegal but i would be cool to find anouther species in there
 
heard these pink coloration is due to foods we feed. isit true to an extent?
