Bichir in a 75 gallon???

All those will stay at a decent size for the tank. If your filtration is good you could easy keep 3 at adult size. 12 inches sounds big but with ujs it's not so big.
Marineland makes glass tops and they are good looking and have good weight. Only problem is not cheap. None of mine in my 75 have escaped I don't know if they've tried though. The lids have a plastic strip on the back you cut for filtration and such. They are nice.

The problem with the lid is that my corners of the tank are curved. the front and 2 sides are just 1 big piece of glass with the sides curved off so I'm going to buy a sheet of polycarbonate and curve the edges to fit on my tank. I can get an 8 ft long piece for £20 and it doesn't bow so that's a benefit. I have an eheim classic 2217 and an eheim internal filter. I'm hoping that's good filtration? I'm just going with 2 cause I'm putting some SA cichlids in the tank aswell.
Biggest polli I've seen was 14.5"-15", Retro was probably 12", and Mokes at 11"-12".
oh I guess I didn't take that in to account. I wrongly assumed it was a standard 75. Yeah then the anti poly polycarb is probably the way to go.
