Bichir no decoration/hiding spots

Bare bottom tank with 2 bichirs, I think they're fine. Makes it way easier to clean when I do water changes. I used to have white sand as the bottom but my fish would always play around and messit up, or sand would go into my filter.

Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 there is no more dory n nemo decor in the 150 due the the violence in the tank. The dat and bass daily drama escalated into jabs and head butting. LoL

I have always 'forgot' to do this but I would love to paint the bottom of my tank before setting up. This would allow you to do red in the right shade for the bottom. No more pale polys.

Hahhaah too funny...

I wouldn't do barebottom,unless you paint the bottom of the tank, my delhezi got all washed out very quickly.B&A.png
but I've gone for lots of rocks from a beach and some streams, bogwood, and some oak branches from the back of the in-laws house, and then a few plants for colour. my tanks a 120g with 3 polys and 3 ropefish
