Call me old-fashion, but i still like gravel. Well I got one that is fine enough so that it wont cause any fatal blockage if my bichirs actually swallowed some. But I won't be too worried since they sieve their food before swallowing.

I have sand for my guys and they are doing very well. The only thing with sand is it is tougher to clean (just a heads up)
