Bichir with white worms

Hey guys,

I hope somebody can help me to identify this white little worms on my Delhezi.
I have bought 3 wild caught Delhezi about 3 weeks ago.
I noticed that they are sometimes darting around like crazy and than back to normal. This only takes a few seconds. Now I have seen some white worms in the area around the head. I am not sure what they are exactly and how to treat them. I would be very happy if some of the experts could help me. For information in Germany we can no longer buy praziquatel in stores. You have to get it from a fish doctor. That's very complicated. Is there anything I can do until I have the right medicine?
Temperature, feeding, water changes?

Looks like anchor worms but these members may know for sure.

Dose some prazipro. Doesn’t look clear cut anchor worms. Better pic will help.

I would say bichir worms but they do look awfully big, next guess would be anchor worms.


Can you get parasite gaurd ? I think it may have been discontinued

Looks like anchor worms. I would treat with dimilin.

I treated mine with praziquantel. Most external parasite medication should work.

I actually ordered dimilin when i thought one of my polys had it. I would have mailed mine to op but just noticed hes in germany.
