nice vid & beautiful polys! Is that the tilapia you were talking about in the other thread? I'm getting tired of the mess from the hikari pellets, but its hard to believe that cut up fish filets would be less messy. The video seems to prove it though

Now what are the chances of you swinging by and aquascaping my tank for me?? :D

Thank you wolf :) yes that is the tilapia they're eating. I spent the time last night chopping up all the fillets into small pieces so when I feed I can just enjoy watching them instead of sitting chopping up fish missing all the action.

You can see my tank was still messy from the massivore I fed that morning and I didn't even realize one of my xp3 had gotten clogged with moss again :irked: That's what I get for being lazy so I'm going to tie the moss down on the wood where it belongs.

You like the scape? It looks really messy right now, I need to rearrange the plants and the wood again, I'm still not 100% on it. But thank you though :D

Sweet tank how many are in there??

Thank you Del! Honestly dude, I don't know off the top of my head lol I'm sure it's at least 20 and counting....

nice wheres my retro girl?

Thanks, she didn't make it into the clip, which is weird because that corner where the smaller bichirs were chilling is where she usually likes to post up at. I'm looking at her right now hanging with the retro in that corner lol she's still a bit camera shy. I'll try to make sure she's in the next one.

There are a few bichirs that didn't make it into the vid like my wild sen, the lapradeis, and the smaller african lol

Nice vid, Serg. I didn't know you had so many bichir. What kind of fish fillets are you feeding?

Thank you Gerry, I started the year with two baby albino sens and a long fin sen and some how it evolved into what the community is now :D

That is tilapia fillet they are eating. All the particulate bits floating in the water is from massivore :irked: They eat the stuff, but it makes a mess. I still plan to give them massivore once in a while for the extra vitamins.

I use massivore too and my bichirs love NLS h20 wafers as well. You bought the tilapia from a seafood section in a supermart, I take it?

I think I've heard of those NLS pellets, they are supposed to remain stable in water right? I'll have to look for them.

Yeah I bought the tilapia at a seafood market. They have whole tilapia on ice, live tilapia in a tank, tilapia fillet, dried tilapia, all they're missing is chopped up into tiny bits tilapia :grinno:

Thank you brutha, hopefully the anubias is off the menu at least!

I'll be looking forward to your feeding video, I've been wanting to see one for a while.

Could you recognize the del from Wes in the video? They are fully settled in now, and the one that wouldn't eat is fully recovered and she is getting faaat dude!

Hopefully her and that male you tried to jack from me will dig each other.

very nice... what kind of light and filtration you using?

Thanks bro, right now I'm only running two xp3's as filtration, with a Koralia 3 for extra circulation.

One xp3 is on a spray bar, the other has a surface extractor to keep the water surface clear. I didn't have it setup correctly in the vid so the surface of my water has that protein film on it. :irked: I reattached it this morning and it is pristine!

The lighting is 3 65w CF lights, with 50/50 bulbs. I should change them to 10,000k for the plants.
