Bichirs are pretty hardy fish for the most part. What kind do you have? Give us more detail so we can help. Also, if you check out the Stickies, there are tons of information that might help you out

Have in mind to house it in at least a tank thats at least 4x its size. I am nt a pro at this as i too recently started keeping bichirs too, but thats the info that i have researched so far.

he has tiny little speckles on him like i mini leopard print when u look really close but he is not even the size of a ruler yet Howd do i sex him btw?

This one is a sene x polli hybrid. I'm not sure if I'm can remember right but another 2 members also from Australia had one sene x polli hybrod as well. Probably someone is breeding them over there.
