Good luck Bro. I have not even successfully keep cories with bichirs for long as cories will eventually be taken as fish food. You will 1 day wake up seeing a cory stuck in a bichir mouth.

you really want to risk losing a cory and a bichir.
there are brochis(correct spelling?look like cories) species that get big enough not to get eaten by senegals and some other small upper jaw sepcies.

depends my bichir is 8" and i feed it very well and it lives with small fish aswell as good sized ones. all its life it has lived with small fish and so its always well fed its fine.
maybe one day it will munch the smaller fish but if i keep it well fed that chance minimises as its 1 hell of a lazy bichir!
