As for not reading about crappy parrots I don't that's why I never go in the hybrid section when you see a thead saying BP v indo it's like some be fight like tyso v Lewis you have to look and when you see the junk parrot it piss me off as we don't want to know about it fighting with a indo or laying eggs take it to the hybrid section

But since its half about Datnoids its ok to post it here. By going by what you are saying I can get all pissy and say keep your nonhybrid out of the Hybrid section because I "don't want to know about it fighting with a parrot or laying eggs". Now if his thread was entirely about Blood Parrots then by all mean get all pissy and start complaining.

My post was/is fine. The irrational peeve you have with BP is actually laughable. If I posted pics of 6 bloodthirsty BP devouring a lovely ST I can understand your dismay but you still cannot stop someone.

Maybe If i feed Dats to my BP she will develope stripes! Maybe I can crossbreed ny BP and my IT. I will tell you what.......You have no power over what anyone does with their personal property which includes Dats. As a chef I am curious what Dats taste like. I could buy a nice IT much cheaper than a nice shark fin for soup! Please keep your personal issues off my posts and save them for a very understanding therapist.

By the way. My BP and IT are still living together. Not a scale was lost in the lovely dance they did. One more thing. As much as I love Dats the Parrot adds much more asthetically to my tank than the IT simply because she is friendly and very brightly colored. My pet peeve has to do with fishkeepers who design tanks for the sole purpose of viewing the fish and the ease of care without any regard for how a fish exists in nature. In other words I do not agree with bare or near bare tanks. I will not challenge every bare tank I see though even though it is at least as un-natural as any hybrid and actually could be considered cruel......unless you are raising open ocean fish of course. For this reason the successful reef keeper is the king of fish keeping no matter how many ST you have. Rant over. Ken

You are in the dat section so no need to talk about the crap parrot each type of fish has it's own section

So keep you crap hybrid to the hybrid section
If you let you dat breed with the parrot you would be the best fishkeeper on the planet as people can't even get tigers to breed with their own kind let alone a bit of junk like the parrot even if it did happen which is not going to happen it still won't earn the right to be in this section as it will still be a hybrid

as for you own property your right my PC/iPhone is my propoty and I have the right to post what I want when I want that's what open forums are all about

When you have been keeping tigers as long as I have and grown a ST from 2 inch to 20 inch + then I think you have the right to comment on a fish you are new to

Im not like people who have been interested in tigers for 5 mins and brought big ST and are proud of a 15 inch ST they just got

You will get bored of tigers after a short time and move on to some other kind of messed up hybrid

I have been keeping the same mix of fish for over 20 years some not as long as others but my mix has always been

Arowana. 22 years
Stingrays. 20 years
Tigers or the crap name people give them dats 12 years
Tigrinus cat 8 years
Lince cat I'm new to that 1 year
Flagtail not got one now as they suck on my rays 8 years
Tinfoil barbs new to them 2 years

Blood parrots NEVER KEPT ONE AND NEVER WILL

I have always thought it's best to make up you mind what type of fish you want to keep and stick with them

You are still in the learning stage of fishkeeping when you get excited when you see a junk parrot go mouth to mouth with a indo
Let's be fair you only got the parrot to keep you wife or kids happy

Don't worry you will find you own direction in the hobby one day

Oooooops almost forgot about no decor I have sand in my tank as I feel stingrays need it as for rock and drift wood it just a place that traps dirt when you have large fish no decor = better water flow and no dead spots

Fishkeeping we don't keep fish we spend most of our time taking care of the water take care of the water and it will take care of the fish
