big catfish what have a slow grow rate?

what niger are slow grow rate

Nigers cats are modertaely slow gorowers, you can ge an inch per month from 2-8" then they do seem to slow down.

what is Leiarius marmoratus grow rate like

I have seen a ripsaw cat at the lfs for nearly a year in what must be a 150gal tank and not gain anysize its only about 6inches. They must be very slow growers- the store feeds and cares for them as they should or maybe they accidentally got a dwarf variety.

I had one got to about 19" kept it at 27 celcius ph6 it grew moderatley fast i got it about 10" and it took about a year to get 16" fed it on sinking wafers, shrimp, bloodworms, earthworms then it died when i left in the care of my cursed neighbour whilst on holiday (they decided the fish werent getting enough food and fed them loads causing a crash)

also i think mine was qute slow growing compared to others ive seen.
