Big foot

I don't believe the gigantopithecus theory works out very well anymore. Early reports from the DNA study suggest their an ancestor of an early hominid hybrid, most likely homo heidelbergensis. The mitochondrial DNA comes back 99% human.

apes and man share a 99% similarity too that is too broad of evidence to base anything off of, but i still keep an open mind.

Yes this is true, I think it may actually be 99.7 % or something like that now that I think about it. I just remember that the ape theory is quickly dying.

I believe Bigfoot exists. I believe it is much more intelligent than it is usually given credit for. But just like aliens, there are too many crazies out there making the subject ridiculous to talk about. So no big money intelligent investigations can happen. The tv shows get ratings because crazy people run through the woods in the middle of the night chasing nothing. They will never catch anything because a deaf and blind squirrel could see and hear them coming. A real team would be in blinds and hide high tech gear in the middle of nowhere (not a mile off a road) and wait and stalk for weeks. But that is boring television and no one would fund that with sophisticated and accurate enough gear so that the results could not be disputed.

Here's a nice little tidbit. Until the 1950's, most white people thought of Bigfoot as a giant Native American, not as an ape like creature, that was only the view of actual native Americans, which makes many accounts from before then more believable. There was no Sasquatch to white people, but they kept describing them and being terrified of what they saw, just calling them beasts. These beasts perfectly fit the description of your modern day Bigfoot.

Supposed piece of Bigfoot steak.

Again, I don't know if I believe or don't believe any of this. I'm just presenting facts I find interesting

I just read a lot of info over a certain point of time, I'm kind of bored with it now to be honest.

I think it varied by tribe. That's another thing, many tribes across the US all believe in Bigfoot and have almost identical descriptions of it.

Some real good info thanks cms, and to be fair with all the glits an glam of today's world I can see why there are a lot of bogus accounts due to money an every one wants there 15 mins of fame. But the case book I read had accounts all the way back to the 1870's just don't believe people would make stuff up like that in them times. Due to the scrutiny of it.
