I could be wrong, but i've had Cyano's in the past that looked a lot like this guy, except not as big.

I'm not 100%, but I thought that Carpintis had the "worming" in the face and Cyano did not??

He might be a she, just judging by the black spot on the dorsal.
I'd vent to be 100%.
 
yeah that black in the dorsal looks more like a "flower" spot than the blotch of a female, something about the black spots and worming is just off, def look like a red texas of some kind (def NOT a pure cyano) but still a great looking fish and yeah the true colors of these guys is always the hardest to photograph i could never get good pictures of my vontehillos color when i had him
