Big Ornate at my lfs

While walking around my lfs yesterday I noticed that they had a 15 inch ornate for sale. But they are asking 200 dollars for it.

Wow, that's really expensive!
Last time I saw large ornates for sale they were over 20" and going for $80.

i seen a few big ones out here going for 150-200

few years back i saw a 24inch sell for 450 bucks lol

rip offs. an ornate can reach 15 inches in no time with proper care.

I've seen giant ornates at my LFS, more than 24".

Not sure if they were for sales though

Yeah it was. It took me a second to notice it. I have never seen a bichir that big at Fish Den

Yeah there is no way that I would pay that much for it. I ordered one from this lady I get fish from. I am getting a 9inch ornate for 60 dollars.

IMO $60 for a 9" is still overpriced. I can get one for $12, but hey different countries have different price range so do check with locals before buying
