Including labor, what did that cost him? Sounds like an ungrateful ass hat. Never work for or loan money to family or friends :) It always comes back to bite you in the ass.

Great work, and that is a seriously kick ass back yard...I love the bbq set up.

Yes it has liner 45 mill or whatever. What you do is line the outside with the larger rocks and then put gravel on the flat parts. If it wasn't lined the arizona desert would take a big sigh and then poof all the water is gone :)

That is amazing! You can't see even a hint of liner in the entire setup. It looks like it is just a dug hole with water.

What can you stock in Tuscon considering the temperature extremes?

Savio makes good equipment, I prefer aquascapes, but have used Savio in the past and had great results. Maybe Thanksgiving will be better for you this year. If not, tell your relative to piss off. Great Job!

nice pond great location to live!

I charged my cousin $1000 labor and the kit we ordered online for about $1300 plus we bought the liner for the stream. The rock cost about $200. When I used to work for a company installing these ponds we charged $5000 and that was with no stream. So yeah I wasn't very happy with his attitude. The guy was such an idiot , he wanted to put a umbrella with a pole over the pond and he didn't want to run the pump 24/7. If you have any experience with these ponds that is why they do so well is great water movement. You would think that it might be hard to stock these ponds but if you plant them liberally and add water lillies they do great. You can put koi or whatever else you want. The rule is the pond has to be 2 ft. deep. Also I agree with Muske, aquascape stuff is better, it's just more expensive.
