I agree!!! The problem with the ponds down here is the plants grow so well they choke out the pond. I had a client call 2 years after I did his pond saying that his fish were dying. His pond penny and parrots feather had taken almost every last square inch of water surface. So suffice to say I had to rip a lot out I filled to large trash containers.

I fill a 30 gal trash can w/lettuce and hyacythin weekly in the summer months. Makes for great garden compost.
