Thats a much better than what it came from, taht mustbe like your good deed of the yr. LOL.

I try :) I have to tell you though........ I had second thoughts for a few days :D I hope I can provide for him to the end. The 300 rubbermaid gives him a enough room not to be cramped but its a bandaid fix at best. I talked to the original owner and she claims its LESS than 2 years old. How is that possible fed only goldfish ??? Is that what I have been missing all these years...... I need to feed my guys crappy feeders not shrimp and smelts :screwy: I am still amazed at the condition of this fish especially knowing his background.

And one more interesting note........... The lfs I got this guy thru sells small RTC's whenever he can get them and in three years of owning his store has only had 2 RTC returns and one was because he ate the other guys fish not because of size. What does that tell you ???? I hate to even think confused:

goldfish actually provide protien and calcium for maximum growth. Doesn't mean it's the healthiest food in the world, just look at the composition. I always mix a lil frozen fresh whole fish in the mix of things when feeding my rtc.

WOW ! ! !

that is an awesome catfish mate. it makes me want one even more now. they are just so hard to come across in my parts though. i have never seen a juvenile for sale.

Very nice find, glad to see he went to a good home!

its best not to feed RTCs live fish because they do not immediately swallow food, they store it in the throat area to decompose before swallowing. because of this, bacteria and disease can often fester, hence causing harm to ure fish. u dont HAVE to...but try and feed more frozen food or pellets. it just takes out a risk factor. plus, like wat necro sed, its probably healthier. combo of frozen shrimps and pellets provide a very all round diet. not just fat and protein ;)

Looks great.. can you tell me the dimensions of a 300g rubbermaid?

without a doubt the best coloration on a rtc ive ever seen

holy **** less than 2yrs and already 30"....you know that one in a million freak of nature that's gets twice their normal size thats probably him:ROFL:
superb RTC he's got a couple good fillets on him:drool: ....
