Thanks Trev.

Very happy with the outcome..... Wanted to build filtration capable of handling ALL of my rays. I think it's a good start.

So far I can only be 100% sure on one of the big girls being knocked up, but it seems like you can see movement in all 3, and possibly a 4th in the juvie tank, BUT it seems I've misinterpreted fat rays for preggo before. :( So I won't get my hopes up. :irked:

Now the question is would anything look better in there then Marbles? :screwy:

I think once the black is coming in flowers look amazing in Tanks. Black rays of course do as well.

im curious what your male to female ratio is

im still stumped as why your rays arent humping like dogs

4 rays right now. Duckman's old female, JimR's old biggest female, and Todd/Pat's old M/F pair. I tried to add a smaller male a couple months ago and it lasted about 2 weeks. He came up dead as a doornail one morning. Ate like a pig the night before. :irked: Was so mad I didn't even look him over. Had to take him out of the juvie tank for trying to deflower the lil ladies in there. Had no clue that would be the result.

Todd's old female IS preggo. Judging by movement now she had to have been knocked up within the 1st month here. I really don't know what's up with the oither 2 ladies. Both are proven breeders. Both are huge.

Amazing set up and I am in aww of your filtration!
in a few months I am going to get my small 360 gallon going ( 100 x 30 x 30 ) and I will def reread this thread to help me figure out the filtration I will use , I am kinda confused as to what kind of sump I will use and how I want to set up the bio ( I know I want a ton of bio and I am going to have a pond that is going to be hooked up to the system also that will have a ton of plants in it to help everything out , O and I will be having a drip system also , I was thinking about setting it up to put 50 gallons of water in a day , think that will be enough ? Any advise you can give will be GREATLY appreciated )

And Also As ussual your Rays look AWESOME! I can't wait to see their changes in the next month or so.
I want rays bad but since my biggest tank atm is the 360 and only being 30" wide I know its not near wide enough , that and I have a bunch of S. american cichlids that need alot more room lol :( and I know rays and cichlids most of the time don't mix to well soo I'll have to wait till I upgrade :(
