She is still hanging there. A lot more active and even greeting me when i come up to the tank. Her disc control is so much better, I kept waiting to see her curl .
I just wish some of these LFS owners would educate themselves more on how to care for these special creatures.
Thanks. Here are some pics. Just need her to start going to town on some food, but I guess small steps are a good thing. Pictures don't show her bones sticking thru and her tail is thinner than a straw.
she is very skinny.
i am glad she is in your hands...
i am lovin her outter rings. she has great spots..i look forward to seeing her grow into her pattern.
Its hard being a ray lover. Its hard to turn your back on a hurting ray.
and yet we still pay hundreds knowing the chance its going to die is 50%..
we are indeed a strange breed.
I wouldn't worry too much about hipbones, it's the dent that's usually bad news. Her perimeter looks white from the pics. Might just be the pics but looks reminiscent of fungal issues.
Yup she has a fluorescent white glow around her disk edge. Also had a big red spot on her underside, now gone. Like I said bigger heart then brain but had to try and give her a chance at life.
strange too because her tail is really skinny..her dent should be there by now.
the one sign that is the worst from not eating/being fed is the crater they get behind the eyes..
once they get that...its pretty much all over.
